So before you proceed with the below tutorial, let me assumed that you already have knowledge of connecting the Psiphon with the Airtel freebie and if you are the type that haven't then kindly read it from HERE on to rock the tweak with Psiphon VPN on PC.
Requirement Needed
- Internet Download Manager (IDM).
- Psiphon VPN for PC
Tutorial On How To Use IDM With Airtel Unlimited Free Browsing On PC
- First of all, you have to make sure that your Psiphon VPN is connected via the previous settings I shared in my previous post HERE,
- Now go to your connected Psiphon VPN, in the left side menu, click on"LOGS", in your LOGS menu, look for where it is stated that "HTTP proxy is running on localhost port 127" (Note: my localhost port may be different from yours).
- Now that you already know the localhost port your Psiphon is connected with then just copy the port number, like my own that is "127"
- Now, open your IDM application.
- Click on "Downloads" at the top menu option.
- Then a pop up will be show to you, then click on "Option" from the menu list.
- Now is going to bring your Internet Download Manager Configuration settings then click on "Proxy/Sock" in the top menu list.
- Tick "Use Proxy" then also click on "Advanced"
- Also tick "Use Http Proxy"then input this: Proxy: 127.0.0.1 and Port: 127 (you will see your port from your Psiphon "LOGS") . Also tick "Use Https Proxy" then input this: Proxy: 127.0.0.1 and Port: 127 (you will see your port from your Psiphon "LOGS"). Then click on "OK" to save the settings.
- That's all guys. The downloading will start working.with IDM via Psiphon with the Airtel unlimited free browsing.
