I Would Be Honoured To Meet Kim Jong-Un, Says Donald Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump’s feelings towards North Korean President Kim Jong-UN, continues to change as he now says under the right circumstances, he would be ‘honoured’ to meet the leader.

A statement from the White House on Monday says North Korea would need to meet many conditions before any meeting between the two leaders can take place.

President Trump showed a change in attitude towards Mr Kim by referring to him as ‘a smart cookie’.

Both leaders have been going back and forth on security in the Korean Peninsula, threatening to use force if provoked.

North Korea on Saturday, conducted its second failed missile ballistic missile test in two weeks, in defiance to U.S. warning against it.

The U.S. had sent warships to the region, and begun installing a controversial anti-missile system in South Korea, in preparation for any attacks by North Korea.
