After a fatherly advice by Banky W few days back, asking them to call it quits and let everyone win, Davido seems to have heed to the advice as he vividly wrote on his Instagram post “All Bullshit Aside ! We Can All Win !” with an Emoji indicating Love.
The comment came after MTV Base released their African Top Ten (10) music chart which saw Davido’s 2017 records – “Fall” and “If” – placed first and third respectively, separated by Mobi Dixon’s “Ezizweni” with Wizkid’s “Come Closer” featuring Drake taking the next spot after “If” (ie fourth spot).
Sharing the chart on his certified instagram account, rather than capitalizing on his advantage and mediocre his presumed old foe, Davido choose to be more gentleman and had a commendable words on all African acts that made the list, flying the culture to the mainstream.

“BLESSED! #ONEAFRICA @mtvbaseafrica BIG UP TO ALL AFRICAN ARTIST PUSHING THE CULTURE ! ALL BULLSHIT ASIDE ! WE CAN ALL WIN ! ❤️”
Does this really mean Davido is calling it quits, their feud or is it just a hyperbolic way of dissing on Wizzy?
If he meant literally what he said, can we now anticipate for a hot collab by two of Nigerian & African biggest afrobeat export? Do you think they could really form a unified music partnership afterall?
Anyway, Wizkid is yet to comment or rather concur to this but have long, precisely since Banky W comment, seize to beef on Davido. He’s now more focused on his massive forthcoming shows after shutting down Washington DC, UK Wireless Festival grand finaleand #SFTOS listening Party in London, during the last weekend.
Davido is also getting set for his next stop for the ongoing #30BillionWorldTour.
What do you think of the new development? Do you think both coming together will be for the good of the game? What’s your take on this? Let hear you out in the comments below!
