The entire students and parents of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State has earlier stated today in many of their online fora that a plan is in place to mobilize the biggest mass protest against Neo-Liberal attacks on Education.
olofofoallday correspondent has gathered from some of the aggrieved students and these were their intuitions about the traffic plan:
Comrade Oyedeji Ahmed (LMP) has this to say:
NO DIVISION, NO SEGREGATION, WE ARE ONE, WE ARE UNITED!!!
This time around, the governments' voodoo will not be able to work. We are formidable and nothing shall divide us again.
We've prayed and we shall continue to keep praying,
We fast and make supplication time without number and we shall continue to do so. Hence, we are assured of victory.
We want nothing but resumption,
We want to promote to another level,
We want to graduate,
Enough of government procrastination ,
Enough of series of lies,
Enough of different antics to buy time,
Enough of oppression,
Enough of time wasting,
Enough of the suicidal tendency that wells up in us for every now and then,
Enough of the students death,
Enough of staff and students death borne out of frustration and anger,
Enough of parent frustration, tension and blood Pressure,
And enough of this, enough of that.
We are tired
We are frustrated
We are ready to die peacefully
Our parents are ready to protest nakedly.
We will never kowtow in government powwow until the needful is done.
In view of this, parents, students, staff, PGD students, masters students, all unions members in Ogbomoso which comprises of olokada, oloja, Oni motor, bricklayers, mechanics, market women and men, and virtually every body that have students or dreaming to have students in LAUTECH are all expected to be part of the protest.
The governments of Osun and Too, should hereby be ready to receive the greatest humiliation of their administration.
