Dele Alli ends Chelsea’s 13-game winning run on Wednesday night

Dele Alli was the star of the show, as Tottenham Hotspur beat Chelsea 2-0 on Wednesday night, to end the Blues’ 13-game winning run.

Antonio Conte’s men have not been defeated, since they were crushed 3-0 by another North London side, Arsenal, in September 2016.

Spurs were the better side at White Hart Lane and Alli headed in Christian Eriksen’s superb cross, to give Mauricio Pochettino’s team a first-half lead.

Although Chelsea upped the tempo in the second half, Alli doubled his side’s advantage, heading in yet another Eriksen’s cross.

The Blues remain top of the league with 49 points, five clear of Liverpool, while Spurs have risen to third place with 42 points.
